2007 Honor Roll of Donors

I would like to express my tremendous gratitude to everyone who supported the University of Cincinnati during 2007! Through the inspirational generosity of nearly 30,000 donors - with more than $79,000,000 in private support - our university continues to gain momentum as we strive toward the goals laid out in the UC|21 academic plan.
We celebrated several exciting gifts this past year, including $10 million commitments each to Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) and to Pharmacy; a $20 million bequest for space exploration; and an unprecedented software gift-in-kind from PACE with a commercial value of more than $400 million to support innovative programs in Engineering and DAAP.
These gifts give us true cause for celebration and represent a great beginning upon which to build. There are many exciting programs and initiatives across the university that benefit from your support, from scholarships that bring us the best and brightest and help students in need, to professorships that attract and keep the world’s greatest academic minds at UC. There’s also an abundance of life-changing (and life-saving) research like the work of the Institute for Nanoscale Science and Technology in Engineering, the Joint Cancer Center, and the Neuroscience Institute.
The support of all our donors allows us to remain a premier urban research university and to become even stronger. Each gift - regardless of size - truly does makes a difference for UC.
